Training

There is nothing more impressive than a well-trained dog!

In our business, we hear the question asked a lot. “Why should I train my dog?  He seems happy; and I don’t care if he knows how to do tricks.”  

A well mannered dog ensures a safe and happy home environment for all. More dogs are turned over to shelters from lack of training than any other cause. It is our mission to prevent the continuation of that circumstance. Every dog should know the commands of SIT, DOWN, STAY and COME. Additionally, your dog should know how to walk calmly on a loose leash. These are the very basics.
 
Dogs love and need structure. Training will not only strengthen the bond between the two of you, but your dog will respect you as his master. You already know your dog loves you, but when you become his leader/trainer you will earn his respect.  He will do everything he can to make you proud and happy to be his owner.

With Anything’s PawsAble obedience training program, we will teach you how to train your dog using 100% Pawsitive training methods. Dogs learn when they are having fun. They do not learn anything out of fear and punishment. Your dog will listen to you out of love, affection and respect. So, show your dog how important he is to you. *THE PROGRAM*

-Visits consist of four to six weeks, one visit per week.  No time limit on visits!

-Training consists of: SIT, DOWN, STAY, COME & Loose leash walking

-Corrective behavior with positive reinforcement

-Client participation is expected, and required! Full family involvement recommended for continuity and retention. 

-Spend fifteen minutes PER DAY working with your dog! Staying consistent is key!

-Upon completion of the program and test, your dog will receive a certification of obedience!
